Children’s Christmas Parties

In partnership with the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree program, Church of the King and the New Orleans Dream Center were able to sponsor over 400 children in the New Orleans region with Christmas gifts. Christmas parties were held for children whose parent(s) are incarcerated. The parties included fun, entertainment, a Christmas message, and gifts for all the children that attended. Through this ministry the love of Christ has been spread to these children. We would like to give a special thanks to all the volunteers who gave of their time to make this Christmas an unforgettable one for all the children that attended.

Thanksgiving Outreach

New Orleans Dream Center was privileged to provide a Thanksgiving event to benefit the families, seniors and special needs residents of the Guste Housing Project. The event was an amazing success thanks to the support of numerous church members and organizations. We were able to provide an inspirational program, medical services and boxes of groceries for over 600 families. We appreciate the partnership of Giving Children Hope and Bell Foods for making this possible and would like to thank all of our church members who donated food and time for all of the basket deliveries on the North Shore. Church of the King would like to thank everyone who gave of themselves to make this special event happen.
