Volunteer

Are you interested in volunteering at the New Orleans Dream Center? There are many ways to get involved! If you can volunteer one hour, one afternoon, one day, one week or one year, this is the place for you. You can bring your friends or your entire family for an experience you will never forget. Check out some of the opportunities listed below. Click on the specific opportunity to email the team leader.

Adopt-A-Block

Join a Saturday team to help clean up the community, clean a home, light landscaping, or pray with our neighbors surrounding the City Campus. Contact Pastor Ben Comber for details at 504.231.9118, email bcomer@churchoftheking.com.

Construction Teams

Help rebuild homes in the community surrounding the Church of the King City Campus that are still devastated from Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav. We partner with other churches and organizations assisting with rebuild and renovation projects. Contact Hui Long for details at 504.415.8084, email Hui.Q.Long@conocophillips.com.

Health REACH / Medical

Doctors, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, technicians and non-medical volunteers are needed to staff our ever-growing health-care outreaches. Whether it’s providing a medical need, escorting people to receive medications, or just providing a listening ear, many hands are welcomed. For further details contact Cori Renfroe at 985.789.7789, email cori.volunteer@yahoo.com.

Health REACH / Dental

Help fill the gap caused by lack of dental services in the New Orleans area. Dentists, assistants, students, hygienists, registration workers, and runners are a few of the positions to be filled as we meet this ever-growing ministry. For further details contact Devonne Reese at 504.453.1943.

Prayer Team

Be the prayer arm of monthly health care outreaches by providing prayer for a diverse population of people who come to receive services from our health care outreaches. Prayer is the foundation by which we can help people receive health, healing, and wholeness. For further details contact Tim or Jan Lantrip at 985.507.9419, email janlantrip@att.net.
